Carhartt

Carhartt, Inc. a US based workwear apparel company founded in 1889, adds its third store to the Boston area.  The new location is a free-standing building on the outskirts of the South Bay Shopping Center in the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester MA.

Commonwealth Building was selected to build out the new space that spans over 5,000 square feet of retail space.  The new space incorporates elements of a workshop with a glazed garage door as a storefront feature, open structure design, and rustic merchandising displays.  Some of the other interior features of the space include polished concrete flooring, industrial lighting, rustic wood flooring, reclaimed lumber wall paneling, and all new mechanical systems.  The exterior features metal paneling, wood accents, 4 large sections of glass storefront, and stucco walls.
