FitRow

Located on the second floor of the Partners Health Care Building at Assembly Row in Somerville, FitRow is a 15,000 square foot fitness concept space that includes five boutique studios.  The tenants include Orangetheory Fitness, Title Boxing, Pure Bar, Club Palates, and CycleBar along with Squeeze juice bar.

Commonwealth Building was hired by Federal Realty to build out the base building elements of the FitRow space.  The project required structural enhancements for new floor openings and exterior wall assemblies.  The scope included an inviting communicating stair, an egress stairwell, one 2 stop elevator, demising for multiple spaces, common area finishes and contemporary lighting, heat pump systems for the common areas, MEP services for each tenant, and base building life safety.  The project also included 2 ground floor entries, storefronts and entries for 5 tenants, and a new entry with ramp for the 2^nd floor roof access.
