Description:
In partnership with FX Messina we re-developed Pearl Plaza to make way for new tenants HomeSense, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods combo store, and Total Wine and More. With nearly 100,000 square feet of retail space this building stands tall at the high point of the property and with easy access to Route 3 and the MBTA Redline station.
Scope of work:
The existing building was too deep for the proposed tenants, so we ended up removing the front building bay 45’x420′ it its entirety including steel, foundations, facades, walks, utilities, and roof. The remaining renovations includes complete demolition of the entire space, new recessed truck-well loading docks, demising the building for three tenants with new utilities for each space, packaged roof top units, new switchgear and base building and life safety systems. We also built all new foundations, steel structure, roofing, and building façade finishes for the entire 420′ front of the building. In conjunction with building out the core and shell for FX Messina we completed the tenant spaces for HomeSense, TJ Maxx and HomeGoods direct for The TJX Companies.
