Located in the landmark Frank Gehry-designed building in the highly sought after retail district in the Back Bay of Boston, on Newbury Street. The TJ Maxx flagship store occupies over 44,000 square feet on four floors.
Scope of work:
The build involved demolition of all four floors of the existing space, major structural enhancements for vertical transportation systems, freight and passenger elevators, escalators, glass rail systems, all new Mechanical heat pump system with roof top chiller, five toilet rooms locations, and open structure ceiling throughout 3 floors of retail sales space.
