Description:
The 3rd Verizon Destination store in the country is located close to the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Verizon destination stores are larger, more interactive and provide a unique customer experience. The store is designed into 6 zones, surrounded by a variety of Boston themed displays, touch screen interactive screens, and charging stations. The 6 zones include audio accessories, fitness gadgets, connected home devices, electronic toys for kids, phone cases, and small business. Some of the other features include a selfie booth, interactive exercise equipment, custom phone case shop, and much more.
Scope of work:
The construction renovations spanned over two floors and 13,000 square feet. Working in a tight urban setting during one of the worst winters on record in 2015 we erected large units of 2″ insulated glass weighing more than 2,000 pounds each using both crane and ergonomic suction cups giving the storefront elevation a frameless clean and crisp appearance. The storefront also includes custom granite crown moldings spanning the entire length and granite paneling flanking the neutral piers. As you approach the interior you will notice a curved monolithic custom lit soffit running the entire length of the sales floor with floor finishes following the same lines. The interior includes high end finishes, custom millwork and displays, high tech audio-visual equipment, clean lighting, and all new MEP systems.
