Description:

Located on the corner of High Street and Pearl Street in a premier location in the Financial District of Boston.  The 5 story office building with a full finished basement was originally built in 1890.  The interior showcases the brick and beam design with high ceilings and flexible floor plates.

Scope of work:

Commonwealth Building was selected as the general contractor to renovate the 1st floor and basement core and shell elements.  The project featured a new entry from Gridley Street, renovated lobby at the Pearly street entry, 16’ high new curtain wall glass with entries for 3 tenants on High Street and Pearl Street, common area egress corridors and stair renovation, restructuring the floor system to accommodate new elevations, new VRF HVAC systems for common areas, and property management office space in the basement.
