Shaw’s Plaza Façade Renovations

The Shaw’s Plaza is comprised of 4 buildings on the property located on Route 44 in Raynham MA.  The tired finishes of the existing building facades required the building owner RioCan REIT to enhance the curb appeal of the shopping center.  The façade renovations provided a clean fresh appearance and forced many of the existing tenants to remodel their interiors and allowed leasing to fill the last few vacancies within the center.

Commonwealth Building was selected by RioCan to renovate the facades as well as fit out the Petco and GNC spaces as new tenants in the center.  The project was completed in phases to limit the amount of disruption to the existing tenants and customers.  We developed a phased logistics plan that focused on the health and safety of the public during the renovations, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control.  The façade renovations included building up sign facades, new EIFS, restoration and painting, new glazing systems, composite clapboard and trim.  The Petco and GNC were turnkey fit outs and were completed in conjunction with the façade renovations.
